Overlooking the charming Piazza della Rotonda, also known as Piazza del Pantheon, our elegant hotel enjoys a privileged view of the imposing temple.
The Pantheon, one of the most fascinating monuments in the world, was built by Agrippa in 27 BC and dedicated to the ancient Roman gods. After being destroyed by a fire, it was rebuilt under Emperor Hadrian.
The central location of the Albergo del Senato allows guests to move easily around the city, thanks to its proximity to public transportation such as buses, taxis, and the metro. Many of the main attractions are within walking distance, allowing guests to experience Rome at a relaxed and authentic pace. Albergo del Senato is located about 20 minutes by public transport and 15 minutes by car or taxi from Roma Termini railway station. From there, several buses depart directly toward the Pantheon area. For a more convenient transfer—especially if you are traveling with a lot of luggage—we recommend opting for a taxi or a private transfer.
